The Cocibolo top is stunning in person but very difficult to photograph well , at least given my modest skills. A few of the pics have been enhanced to better show the grain patterns in the wood.

These basses rarely come up on the used market, partially because so relatively few have been made ( Ken is a one man shop ) , he is making mostly guitars these days due to big demand , and lastly, few players sell their Lawrence bass.
