The Dingwall Combustion is the fanned fret bass for the masses. Affordable and very well made, if you ever thought about getting into fanned frets this is the way to go.
Have you ever played a fanned fret bass? If you have only seen photos, you might mistakenly assume that it is impossible and unnatural , as foreign a notion as Democrats and Republicans working together.
I can assure you that it is not difficult at all. The left hand seems to fall in place without any thought, which is how I play bass.
