Seldom seen in the US , Nishgaki is a small Japanese based luthierie.

This is the first example of their work that I have experienced.

World class – I’ve often said great talent can come from anywhere in the world , and this bass proves my point.

Body : Core is Mahogany , Back is Flame Maple , top wood is Sitka Spruce – 10.39 lbs.

Neck : 3 piece Flame Maple and Hard Maple – 34″ scale . 18mm spacing at the bridge

Fingerboard : Ebony . 24 frets , nut width 1.88″

Headstock :  Yoshino Sugi

Hardware : Gotoh 300 tuners , Hipshot B Style bridge with Titanium saddles

Reunion blues gig bag – a very nice bag befitting this bass

Pickups : Bartolini Humbuckers ( pictures 1&2) Comes with the original Nordstrand Big Singles

Controls : This is a passive bass with Volume, Blend , and Tone controls. Active electronics are not missed on this bass.

The condition is like new.

The tone is sublime, with a real acoustic vibe.
