OK, JB players , here is a custom neck-thru with the neck you like. Slim at the nut, with the taper you are accustomed to. Vadim Rubstov is one talented son-of-a-gun, and this bass serves as proof of that assesment.
The neck is primarily Wenge, with Paduk and Maple runners. Macassar Ebony fretboard , 34″ scale (of course)
The body has a Cherry core with a Quilt/Flame Maple top and flamed Walnut back.
The pickups are wood covered , to match the neck laminations. These are Vadim’s custom pickups mated to his custom 3 band preamp.
