Scott Surine has been making high end basses forever ( 25 years or more ? ). Bravo.
We have not see many Surine basses over the years , and it has been a while since the last one arrived.
This bass is a 2023 build , I am very impressed by this modern Surine.
The build quality is exceptional. At least as good as any other high level luthiers. At a certain level, there are many bass makers who inhabit that top tier of bass builders. Surine belongs in this group.

Body : Multi-laminate Mahogany core , Buckeye Burl top and back , Black Sycamore veneers. 10.44lbs
Neck : Rock Maple with Walnut runners , 35″ scale , full nut width 1.85″ , string spacing at the bridge 19mm. White pearl blocks and side dots.
Pickups : Bartolini Candybar
Preamp: Bartolini NTBMF with Master , Blend , 3 band EQ
Hardware : Hipshot gold bridge and tuners , Schaller strap locks
Finish : Gloss Polyester
Gig Bag : Mono Vertigo
