Here is something a little out of the ordinary , a wide neck Smith 6 , made especially for the NAMM show back in 2000. They took a neck that woild normally be used for a standard 7 string, and then made it into a 6.

Lots of space in their – no getting tangled up in these strings. As befits a NAMM bass, this example uses incredible Exhibition grade Flamed Maple – the 3D effect is amazing.

This bass is very near mint.
