We offer this new bass from Jerzy, a customized Excellency IV. What makes this bass different? Let’s start with the neck construction.

Instead of a three piece Maple top, this neck features a 13 piece construction, much like that found on the Signature model. Primarily Bubinga, with Purpleheart, Palisandro, Maple and Bubinga runners. The fretboard is Ebony, adorned with mandolin frets; this is one quick playing bass. The top is nicely Flamed Maple, with the added touch that that neck laminates are invisiable from the front due to the addition of a piece of Flame Maple at the neck junction. The pickups are by Bartolini, the preamp by Demeter. Volume, Blend, 3 band EQ, active / passive toggle with a passive tone control. See if you can spot a tiny ding on the full frontal photo. No?
