Michael Gillett is a UK based bassist who has taken his years of playing experience and applied what he has learned to a new Acoustic/ Electric bass guitar.
The Contour basses are made in England.
“Contour” refers to the ergonomic top and back ” cutaways ” – the front creates a comfortable forearm support , with no sharp edges as on a flat top instrument.
The rear cutaway allows the player to place the bass against his/her body , which permits a close bond – very helpful with an acoustic instrument.
