Description

This came here about 5 years , currently strung as a piccolo bass , EADG , an octave up.  Wonderful like this , but we can add standard strings if you prefer.

Some cosmetic issues of note

1 ) Headstock crack , repaired long ago and always stable for me.

2 ) At some point a previous owner decided to add a pad to the rear of the body. Then the pad was removed and dowels replaced.

Bottom line , this bass sounds fantastic ,very versatile. Plays easily.

As with all of these original Les Paul basses ,they are dense, about 10 1/2 lbs .
