Here we have a bass by Chris Benavente . I believe is a 2009 build.

• Alder body , with Alder ( I think ) center block – 9lbs,11oz.
• Mesquite top , framed block inlays, and headstock veneer
• 13 piece neck , primarily Maple , 35″ scale
• Gabon Ebony fretboard
• Full nut width – 2.18″
• String spacing – 18.5mm
• Benavente pickups
• Petronov 3 band preamp , active only
• Case

I hate to stereotype or make assumptions, but this is a bass for a player with medium – large hands. The neck is wide , but not deep , which enhances playability
